Local CU4Kids Committees

One important reason Credit Unions for Kids has been successful is due to its ability to foster cooperation among credit unions. Troy Stang, CEO of Northwest Credit Union Association, says, “One reason the Northwest Credit Union Association loves CU4Kids is because it allows credit unions to work together in a fun and meaningful way that makes a difference for the hospitals, for the kids, and for their families. That collaboration translates into how Northwest credit unions work together serving their members and communities.”

One of the best examples of CU4Kids cooperation is through local committees. The idea is simple: groups of credit union leaders come together on a regular basis to plan and execute fun ways to give back to their community through their local children’s hospital.
