Donate Your Fees
The Donate Your Fees campaign is an opportunity for credit unions to raise funds for their local children’s hospital through the Credit Union for Kids program. Credit Unions already have a transaction fee for non-members to make a withdraw at their ATM units. Recently, credit unions have begun to allocate these fee’s to support their communities by donating a portion of the current fee or increasing the fee.
This is an opportunity to market the philanthropy that credit unions are doing to non-members. By placing a sticker on the ATM unit showcasing the small donation amount has resulted in positive feedback from the non-members making withdraws.
